Continuing Education for AOM Providers

Our center is affiliated with the Institute for Classical Asian Medicine and sponsors approved continuing education for acupuncture providers. Courses include Qigong and external Qi healing for healthcare providers, classical acupuncture and Oriental medicine, and reviews of Oriental medical treatments for complex modern diseases. Consultation Services and Herbal Medicine Referrals

Most acupuncture and Oriental medicine (AOM) providers work in individual private practices and have little access to other, more experienced providers with whom they can consult on complex or recalcitrant cases. Our office offers professional consultation services for other AOM providers.

We also offer herbal consultations for patients of providers who do not have professional level training in Chinese herbal medicine.  In these cases patients will make an appointment in our office for an herbal consultation only (we will not treat herbal referrals with acupuncture) and then continue acupuncture treatment in your office. In Asia acupuncturists frequently refer patients for herbal consultations for a more comprehensive treatment approach, and now here in New Jersey this service is available for the benefit of both patients and acupuncturists.
