Qigong

TaijiThe word Qigong (pronounced "Chi Gung") refers to exercises that combine mindful movement and breathing with visualization techniques. Qigong has been a part of traditional Chinese culture and healing arts for millennia. Our center offers group and private lessons in a variety of Qigong systems. Acupuncturists can take our Qigong classes for approved continuing education credits.

Pangu Shengong (PGSG)
PGSG is a powerful system of Qigong developed by Master Ou Wen Wei. The system is easy to learn yet is exceptionally effective at treating and preventing disease. Our resident teacher, Henry McCann, is one of the only 36 people in the world authorized by Master Ou to teach advanced levels of this system. For more information about PGSG click here .

Qigong Therapy
In Qigong therapy the practitioner emits powerful Qi, or vital force, to a patient with the intention of treating disease. Patients usually find treatments relaxing yet invigorating. Students of our center can also learn to perform Qigong therapy.

Learning Qigong
Qigong is not something beginners can learn from a book or video.  Like many classical Chinese sciences, a qualified teacher is essential, and can save the potential student years of effort aimed at poorly learned material.  Click here for more information on learning Qigong from a qualified and true teacher.
